Return & Recover - Clinic Reopening...

With the continued progress in the easing of the Scottish Government restrictions we are delighted to announce that Hampden Sports Clinic will reopen for physiotherapy, sports medicine, and podiatry on Tuesday the 21st of July.
If you have been at the Clinic before or are coming for the first time we have worked hard to create a safe environment within the Clinic for both our clients and staff.
When you book an appointment, one of the clinical staff will call you back to ensure it is suitable for you to attend for a consultation – we will still offer virtual appointments for those who are unable to attend. Clients will enter via a dedicated entrance to the stadium from Cathcart Road and through the underground roadway and will be able to park immediately outside the Clinic entrance. Where possible please come alone unless you need a companion and enter the Clinic no more than 5 minutes before your appointment time with any belongings kept to a minimum. On entry we will do a contactless temperature check and ask you to wear a face covering. Initially staff numbers will be reduced and appointments will be longer to allow extra time for cleaning of the rooms between clients.
Following a formal risk assessment submitted and approved by Healthcare Improvement Scotland and with your safety paramount we have put in place a number of additional procedural and hygiene measures including:
- Reception chairs renewed to facilitate cleaning and placed at a social distance
- Perspex screen at reception with contactless payments
- One way system in the clinic to minimise contact with others
- Gym access only for clients during appointment providing a quiet socially distanced area
- No pool or changing room/shower access
- Staggered appointment times to minimise the number in reception at any time
- Appropriate PPE for staff
- Hand sanitisers in place
- Enhanced Clinic cleaning regime and client only toilets
