Angina

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF AN ANGINA ATTACK

  • Initial symptoms are similar to a heart attack
  • The pain should ease with rest
  • The casualty may have shortness of breath and a sudden tiredness which can be extreme
  • The casualty may be anxious
  • The casualty may insist that the condition is only angina, but be aware of any continuing pain and discomfort being experienced by the casualty, which would indicate a heart attack
