As professionals, we know that physical health and fitness goes a long way to achieving an overall sense of well-being. Having worked at a Premiership Rugby Club for over three years, and from my own experience, I know how frustrating an injury can be. From education and advice, to treatment and the planning of rehabilitation programmes, I enjoy working to help all our clients, sporting and non-sporting, achieve their goals.
What I love most about my job is the variety. Over the years I have been lucky enough to work with the BBC along with professional athletes involved in Rugby, Skiing, Lacrosse and Motorsports. I have also had opportunities to be part of some amazing sporting events such as The World Squash Championships in 2014.
I enjoy treating people who have a desire to get back to full fitness. I love working with patients who have the same interest in the way their bodies work as I do. Hampden Sports Clinic offers a really rounded service and is a great place to work and be seen. There is a relaxed atmosphere and everyone, both clients and staff, can share a laugh.
Treat the patient as you would like to be treated yourself. I live by this every day.
