I am continually fascinated by the effect of movement on muscles. The physiology, the science behind a walk, a jog, a run or a sit down. The psychological benefits too, are massive; the sense of wellbeing when stresses, strains, aches and pains all just dissipate…

I really enjoy seeing new people, with different priorities, and seeing the effect massage has on helping them achieve their goals. I would love to see more organisations provide regular massage as part of their internal Wellness programmes. It would be a win/win with less stressed staff, reduced absenteeism and even more productivity.

In my utopian world, there’s massage cabins on the High Street, in airports, train stations and at every motorway service station up and down the country! The science is clear, the costs minimal and the benefits priceless.
